Wyatt Jeffcoat

Wyatt helped start Old Hickory Tree Service in July 2025. He received his Associate’s degree in Natural Resource Management where he found the drive to work outdoors. He started his career as part of a fuels reduction crew with a fire department in California where his chainsaw training began. He then went on to do stream restoration work with Symbiotic Restoration Group and Swift Water Design. He moved to North Carolina in May 2024 to work on a trail crew in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. With these different backgrounds, the interest and love for tree work formed while gaining experience along the way. He is now proud to have a business that will help the community of Asheville.


Michael Benjamin


Michael is a U.S. Navy veteran with a background in trail work, conservation, and forestry through the National Park Service. His experience maintaining trails, clearing storm damage, and caring for forests shaped the way we approach tree work today.
